Our company started full time in July of 2000, founded by Chris Dover, out of a small building in Maydelle, TX. In the early years we relied on our customers and their word of mouth for advertising, and did our customers ever do a wonderful job. In 2005 the decision was made to move into Jacksonville, TX. We set up shop in the historic downtown area. During the first few months in Jacksonville we remained dependent upon that same word of mouth. We were astonished by the response and support we received from the Jacksonville community. It wasn’t long, in fact less than a year, before we had to make some major decisions on the direction of CDE Computer. We made a major move to US Highway 79 across from the historic Tomato Bowl in April 2006. Soon after this move we started a major advertising push. Now in a newer, easy to get to location, we sought to become members of the Jacksonville Chamber of Commerce. The people from the chamber could not have done a better job in promotion of our business and for that we have truly been grateful. Once the task was accomplished, it was on to the wonderful world of radio and print advertising. We started a relationship with the fine staff at KWRW CD 97.7 radio and began running ads of Talk Time from 8:00 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. and Country Corner from 4:00 p.m. until 5:30 p.m. We still run these ads to this day. So, if you are ever around a radio at those times, please tune in. Our first radio ad was written and recorded by Daniel Christian Green, a writer, truck driver, pizza delivery guy and Jacksonville area native. Daniel coined the phrase “Warriors of the Technical World” in that first radio ad and it has continued to be our slogan. Soon after the outstanding response from our first radio commercial Daniel recorded a second commercial for us. After those two very original commercials we made the decision to have radio personality and Talk Time host Robert Gonzalez do our ads live. This gave us the opportunity to keep our customers informed of the various items and services we had to offer on and ever changing basis. In early 2007 we hired Adam Bemis has a technician. Adam quickly proved to be a great asset to our company. His expertise and speed in repair has increased both our production and turn around. During our first year on US Highway 79, thanks to the extraordinary response to our advertising, we outgrew the building we occupied. In April of 2007 we moved into our current location which is a much larger space than we had ever occupied before. With more room we were able to quickly start to offer more services. We started many partnerships to offer such services as WildBlue, HughesNet and Eastex internet. More recently we finalized ties with Wikid Dezines to offer the highest quality in custom PC graphics. It has been a wild ride and our company has gong through many changes since its inception in 2000. One thing, however, has remained constant. Our customers continue to be the greatest around. We have added some links below to a T.V. commercial and both of our radio ads. Also, we are proud to host the only know download for Cobalt Blues. This is a track that was written and performed by our good friend and customer, David Hendley of Old Farmhouse Pottery.
